Many of us reuse the saline hatching solution over and over for 
several hatches. I replace mine after three to 4 days of use, I just 
dump in another teaspoon of eggs in the mornings into yesterday's 
solution after I syphon out the hatch from the eggs of the day before.

I am forced to remake the salt solution because the old solution 
causes the eggs to hatch in less than 24 hours and when I turn off 
the air to let the BBS settle a large number of the shrimps are dead. 
They have hatched hours earlier and have died. I don't have a cause 
as to why they are dead unless it is due to the consumption of their 
nutritional package and they have nothing to eat. But, dead none the 
less. A fresh saline solution and I'm back in BBS the next morning.

I take it Jeff that you never reuse old salt solution??

Also, wonder where you keep your cans of eggs? Fishroom, freezer . . .  ?
