Up until a few weeks ago , I was always getting great hatches and the eggs
were seperating well in the water in the hatching jar. Suddenly , the hatch
rate
went to near zero and the eggs no longer sink or float at harvest time ,
but
rather stay suspended in the water. Nothing was changed - same water source
,
same salt , same temperature. I even tried 2 additional cans of eggs , all
premium grade , never opened. No luck. Various salinities and salts
(non-iodized
, marine) , pH levels , and water sources (tap , RO) have been tried with
the
same results.
Any ideas on why this is happening? Suggestions? Seems a bit hard to
believe
that top quality eggs from 3 different sources would all be bad at the same
time , especially those that were hatching fine previously.
