Re: [Killietalk] How to keep fish cool.

Yes, I'm quite aware, but don't care. It is free and the smarter they are at giving me pop-up ads that are appropriate, the happier I am. I could pay for it and eliminate the so-called spy ware. I also use Intellicast and several others, but Weatherbug is nice enough to give me local conditions constantly and very good at alerts (which we need, here). They also let me choose my sponsors, so I don't get hit with ads for products that wouldn't let me get through doors or get to sleep at night. :-)

Just a quick OT, but Ad-Aware says that Weatherbug is spy ware which tracks your browsing. Just thought you should know.

I'll have to see what I can talk my landlord into. :-)

Wright,
I know very little about the area you live in, but could you take advantage of the cooler ground temperatures in some way? I put my cool water fish directly on the concrete floor in my basement and it stays below 70 degrees in the summer. My pools are in the direct sun, but because they are below ground (2 out of 3 of them), they stay cool, except at the surface in the hot sun. Can you dig a hole to make a root cellar type of structure? I have more problem keeping myself cool than the fish.
