[Killietalk] Flies in my culture :(

Hi folks. i just (finally) got a culture from the bug
farm. Well, the day after i put it in the box (a
plastic Ziplock "gladware" type thing) for culturing
it has flies. What to do? The last time i had flies i
tried a few moth balls and well it killed the culture
in short order. I don't really have a backyard i can
let it sit out in (i'm at college)... any options? 

Also, i'm not 100% sure which culture it is,
everything says "Grindal worms" but they certainly
look like whiteworms to me.. just my experience with
whiteworms is saying that, i've never had grindals
before, do they really look that much alike? 

i really don't want to have to junk this culture right
after i got it. help!
