The difference depends on several things. First, and foremost, is the strain. 
Second, is the lighting. Third is the conditions under which it is kept. 
Also, there is individual to individual variations, even with the first three 
parameters the same. This is true of all killies, but since we have been keeping 
australe for a longer time we ware more aware of it.
