When Charlie Grimes and I went to the River Peruse  in Oct 1995 we put the
fish we caught into wide mouth Pepsi bottles with a half inch cube of poly
filter in each bottle with fish in them. These fish did fine in the bottles
that had the poly filter in them. The water we caught the fish in was brown
when first added but by the next morning it was crystal clear. The fish that
were caught and put in bottles without the Polly filter were dead within
hours. I have used it many times in bags with good results.
