Since the subject of plastic shoe boxes has been opened, I thought that I'd
mention that I found some really great boxes at my local Office Depot. I
think
that they are better than the Sterilite boxes. The boxes have flat sides and
bottoms which should work great for Barry's PVC overflow system. They also
do not have a lot of ridges and ledges on the inside that can trap a lot of
debris-like BBS egg shells. Even better, they have lids that are made out
of the
same clear plastic. Thus, light can pass through the lid to help keep Java
moss and other plants alive. The shoe box size is sold in bundles of three.
There are also at least 2 other larger sizes, which I am using as grow out
containers.
Since Office Depot is a chain, they ought to be available to a lot of people.
