I know I have mentioned this before but will do so again. I fully agree with you Dave however I do know of several people who keep killies and do not use a computer. Some of them even have a computer in the house used by other members of their family. For one reason or another they do not want to buy a computer or use one that is available to them. I think the main reason is that they are unsure of it and are intimidated by it. In most cases these are people over fifty years of age. I am sure most of the younger generation can not understand this. I do understand it as I am of the older generation and it took some learning and persistance on my part to become familiar with using the computer. I am still learning everyday. For these people they may never use a computer and take advantage of the many pluses it offers. They will always rely on the old methods for communication. etc. I think we should remain considerate of those people even though they may have become the minority in our club.

The written. printed word is still extremely valuable, but the computer has
so many advantages that I cannot understand how people can work without one.
A classic example has been the thread about disease the past few days. If
I had to contact a local member, and then outsiders , using snail mail or
phone, to find the answer to a problem it could take weeks.Using the net, I
can get a result in hours. Ditto advertising fish/eggs, etc.
Surely though, the best thing about computers si the fact that mail like
this can be circulated around the world in seconds instead of weeks, and
people who disagree can flame me almost instantly.
