Re: [Killietalk] Technology: a suggestion

Stan,

we did that. It is the forums that are now on the AKA web site, that has a public forum for general killie discussion and members only forums for discussion of AKA "business". You can elect to read what threads you wish. Other forums, such as specific interest groups, etc., can be set up if people request them.

Only time will tell if you folks, the users, will make enough use of the forums to make them a viable alternative to killietalk, which, as you point out, is a gamish of many different topics, with threads poorly identified.

Incidentally, I don't agree with the identification of these discussions as being about technology. They are not. They are about communication.

I guess I got out of line with that last message - but maybe not. I'd like to make a suggestion. If all this talk about servers, addresses, to email or not to email is so very important - set up a Killietalktechnology list and all those who want the chit chat about this can do it there. The rest of us primates will continue to discuss fish and leave the driving to you guys. I'm tired of having my email box filled with messages I have to take time and delete!

I know that I will catch a load over this but it has come to the point that -" Scarlet, I don't give a damn!"
