Yes,David,I agree the tracking # is of great value to the shipper because
I do worry about the fish when I ship them.I know exactly what you are
referring to about the USPS not be on top of tracking shipments.Even with
Express, what from I have noticed, they do not do a good job tracking the package
Does everyone know that there is a free piece of software at
www.usps.com ?? It is a shipping program , allows you to produce labels
for your boxes, the labels will print out on any printer since they are set
up to print as pdf files, they are large, neat and call attention to the
package. An additional benefit is that you do not pay for delivery
confirmation it is free if you use the shipping assistant provided by the USPS.
If you have a simple scale you can figure out postage via any rate
to anywhere in the world. This is a fine tool with the major changes in
Priority Mail .....................
I am not selling the USPS for fish delivery, but this program
does make it very easy to produce labels, keep an address book of
shipments, calculate postage, and save 40 cents for delivery
confirmation, It is the label style that I really like,,,,,,,,,,
Try shipping Priority on Saturday........ no labels indicating
fish etc.... I have had great success , most packages arrive on Monday.
program is Shipping assistant, it is free and available at
www.usps.com.
Try it ...... you might like it......... It is worth at least the cost of
purchase ..................:0)
