'meeting space' spontaneously produced dozens of responses. Exactly the kind
of feedback you were asking for.

Doesn't this speak directly to level of participation and the efficacy of
the electronic medium? Don't the facts speak for themselves? If the BNL
isn't dead, it's sleeping.

For a few days now, I've laid back and just listened to criticisms of
our present system, out attempt to compromise last month and our failure
to communicate.

I have just one response. I would like you, who have complaints, to pull
out you March 2003 BNL and read the chairman's message. I requested
comments on this issue and indicted my personal support for change.

How many opinions, letters and comments did I get? What's the number
between -1 and +1? * This was the feedback we had when we went into out
open BOT meeting in May to discuss the issue. Our conclusion was based
on the feedback we had been given. The goal was to truly implement what
the members wanted, but you told us nothing.

I'm sure the board has been listening to everything that has been said
the past two weeks. We'll talk about it. But I need to give them a few
days to cool off from the insults so they can talk reasonably.
