Hi Lee,
<< We all knew who sent it. Good comments, even without a sig. I believe
the
major criticisms come from those who are unwilling or unable to step up and
serve a term. There are a few who do both but they are rare. In my opinion,

Again, I say, one should not be required (or in anyway "measured" ) to
be a BOT member to have an opinion or idea on this matter. I find it odd that
the implication is that unless one is on the governing board of the AKA, one's
discussion is pointless hot air. This POV makes the AKA leadership sound like
a clique or even an oligarchy. If I was on the BOT I would be doing the same
thing only to just 8 other people instead of all of Killitalk. I would say the
same things and have the same ideas. The only difference is I could vote.
Well, someone on the BOT can push my ideas as well as I can and then the ideas can
be become the basis of a vote. The only difference my being "there" would
make is that it would insure my ideas always had at least one vote -- that's it.
