August 2003 ARK Meeting Announcement

Anyone visiting the Phoenix area this weekend is welcome to attend the
monthly meeting of the ARIZONA RIVULIN KEEPERS.

The date is SATURDAY, August 9, and we will start at 6:30 pm.  We meet at
the Round Table Pizza, 9920 S Rural Road, on the northwest corner of Ray and
Rural Roads in south Tempe.  Their phone number is 602-961-9988. Meetings
are free and the public is invited.

 Our August Sponsor of the Month is TETRA, a well known manufacturer of
aquarium products.  We will be raffling off the products they send.  We
encourage you to support the companies that support us.

The program will be "Plant and Switch Spawners", an AKA video by Karl
Doerring.  This presentation is intended to show you the different methods
used to successfully breed both plant- and peat-spawning killifish.  You
will see Karl's set-up and live shots of many killies.

We will also feature a Trade Table of killies, other small unusual tropical
fish, aquatic plants, and live food cultures. Members and visitors are
welcome to participate.
