    It seems the AKA's BOT might be valuing those members NOT on line a bit more than those on line. I have nothing against a paper BNL except its usefulness has past. If we want to keep a paper BNL and then create a F&EL in real time on line -- great, but why the duplication and extra work and money? One reason I suggested using professional computer people instead of a volunteer wa that they might be able to make a site here old computers, webtv and everythin can connect to it. That's their job so i figure they might be good at it. I don't want to leave anyone behind but I don;t want to wait to move forward until all the non-on-line people leave the AKA. That is holding back the club for the sake of a few. The present compromise of placing the current F&EL on line is just duplicating what paper does and creating busy work for Barry for NO good reason. It is a stupid, idiotic, dumb, wasteful, uselss idea -- BECAUSE IT SERVES NO PURPOSE ON ITS OWN!   I want to know which BOT!
  members voted against an on line real time F&EL. I want to know where the new candidates stand on this isssues as I want to vote against all who are against it.    Much of what is in the BNL could be incorporated into JAKA. We don't need 12 Chairman's Messages. Show Schedules are known in advance. Tapes for sell change but once a year. New members can be placed in JAKA. The membership form can be in JAKA. Most of the BNL can be placed in JAKA -- if not on line. That just leaves the F&EL.    The collecting trip debate has not just divided into pro and con -- that is a surface insight. What has been exposed here is that the nay sayers have powerful points for NOT wasting the AKA's time and money on this while the yeah sayers have yet to produce one COMPELING reason to do a collcting trip. That is their challenge. It not a question of doing it because we can or want to -- BUT WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
