Hi All:

The easiest way to sex young Epiplatys is to hold the fish up to a backlight
and look at the edge of the anal fin. Invariably, the males will have a dark
border at the edge. Sometimes there is a border also on the dorsal, but in
almost all cases the anal fin will show this characteristic. Very young
Epiplatys can be sexed this way.
