Hi all,
The reason why I am using oxygen is to minimize belly slider. Here in
Singapore, the temperature being high, lots of the South American species
turn out to be belly sliders when wetted. I remember mentioned by one of the
AKA members, he uses hydrogen peroxide (Oxygen) to correct belly slider.
However I think it will be too risky to dose H2O2 directly into the hatching
water. Thus I bought an oxydator to study their design and thought of doing
a poor man version myself. I had most of the materials (holding bottles)
ready and am still lacking of a catalyst.
One Singapore hobbyist uses oxygen tablets in the hatching tray with great
results.
