I have used these same valves on my air system also out of 1 1/2" PVC. They do
work well.

I currently am building a continuous flow fry system. I wonder if this would
be the "valve of choice" for the water out flow since the connection to the
shoebox will just be a piece of airline tubing.

Is there a better valve choice for this?
