Well. My bubbles... usually get together with another bubble on the way to up, so it gets bigger. I will see in a few days if this is helping plants.

shrink noticeably on their way up to the surface, I think because CO2 is
being absorbed by the water, and some dissolve completely. So even though
there's a trail of bubbles to the top, some CO2 makes it into the water.
The plants do seem to notice when it's on, although they don't really
pearl.
