Thanks, Lee. My Altas do not have the Blacknose Dace (I do not think). I believe these fishes are blacknose dace. I just went to check them in my tank. Two are alive, and one is gone. I will do more research on the fishes to see how I could take care of them. Now at least, you helped me with their ID which is really good.

You should purchase or borrow a copy of Peterson's Guide to freshwater
fishes. Perhaps what you caught are Blacknose Dace or possibly Common Shiners.
