My first kilomberoensis wetting yielded 7 bellysliders and one fat female... My second wetting gave me several more belly sliders and 4 males. Go figure... They are spawning now though so I should be able to stuff up with another generation.

Hi Dave,
I'm one of those who was having an attack of "the hell with it" but since
we're going to do this for interest sake I'll add my bit of data.
On the second wetting of N. kilomberoensis Minepa TAN 00-14 I got two fry
both of which were female. I was quite pleased with this since the first
wetting gave me about 75% males and I only had one female left. When I wet
the eggs I have incubating, I'll try some containers with two fry each and
see what happens although its going to be like comparing apples and oranges
because I did not incubate the original bag of eggs. I got it in the mail
and customs sat on it for 3 weeks. The eggs were eyed up way ahead of the
incubation time and I wondered if they had stored them on the heat register
while they had them.
