       (1) Barometric pressure
       (2) Phase of the moon
       (3) Type of diagram drawn around hatching tank - circle, square, 
pentagram, etc.
       (4) Number, type, and color of candles burnt
       (5) Number and type of feathers shaken at eggs - Chicken, Eagle, or 
Crow, or for our friends in the U.K., Pigeon, Falcon, or Raven
       (6) Type and duration of dance performed
       (7) Type of drum beaten
       (8) Exact incantation used
       (9) Whether or not actual human sacrifice was required
