Re: 2 strains of ogoense 80-24?



Hi Adam,  they are both the real deal.  It is just the variability that 
occurs.  Some will breed them for one or the other characteristics and an aquarium 
strain develops that may not be representative.  Some of these fish we are 
talking about have "morphs" not unlike cichlids.  I can tell you from experience 
that the first time I had ogoense 80-24, in the 80's, their markings were not 
broken up. The red markings were very thick and bright running posteriorly.
