Re: need air-pump advice...which to get for my fish room



Bob,

Because I have a large fishroom with about 130 tanks of various sizes, up to 55 gal, as well as barrels of water for ageing, I bought the largest of the linear piston pumps from Jehmco. As I mentioned, I also have a 300 gal storage container in my room, which is about 6' tall and the pump pushes air to the bottom of it without any problems. I wouldn't use any other kind of pump. As others have stated, these pumps are so quiet you virtually can't hear them.
