I was so pleased to attend my first auction at a national convention.
Although I could not be there for the rest of the weekend I still had the chance to
meet many new people some of whom I corresponded with over time. Best of all I
took home over 24 new fish.(2 were lost on the way home). Several of the
species, while common are new to my fish room. I would like to solicite advise on
breeding and keeping the follwing species which so far have not spawned for me:
1- Epi annulatus.- I bought 2 great looking pairs and set each one up in a 2
1/2 gal. Feeding is mostly Blackworms and BBS. Each tank has a floating mop.
The water is lappx 72 degrees and slightly acid(6.8 or so) Water changes every
week .
2- Epi Bivittatum Funge- This pair is in a 5 gal. Water conditions so far
same as above
3-Epi Lamottei Koule GRL 178/90- this pair also is in a 5 gal with same
conditions.
Thanks to Joe and all those who worked so hard to make the Auction so
successful
Henry
