I'm a beginner with Fp. avichang also. Edd and I both got a pair from the
recent West Coast Weekend. These are very healthy fish and were obviously
well cared by the breeder in Netherlands(?).
I have them in a two and a half gallon tank with a green mop. I have managed
to pick about eight good eggs so far and they should do well on top of damp
peat in a petri dish. Using peat would work also, I am sure. But, for me, it
is easier to use mops as I do with all of my Fundulopanchax species. Let's
get them going and spread them around. It is a beautiful fish.
