Thanks, Wright, for the advice!  I'd been thinking that nothos might be
just the thing to bright up that "brackish" tank, but hadn't gotten to the
point of writing up the question before these little fish snuck home with
me, so I'm glad to hear that confirmed....at least as far as the water
chemistry goes!

I haven't ever done the brine shrimp hatching thing, but I guess that's
going to be part of the deal....another new biology experiment right in my
own little apartment, to go along with the fish, earthworms, and white
worms.....!
