Gardneri N'sukka

Hi, I'm thinking about getting some Gardneri N'sukka's and I was wondering if 
you could give me some information on the species. (food, preferred pH, etc) 
So far, all people have told me is that they're the same as all killifish, 
which I know can't be right. Thanks so much!
