A collection code is merely an identifyer to seperate it from other
collections.
Collections are generally put into print or put onto websites with data on
biotopes etc.
Both sides of the Atlantic are equally to blame in corrupting codes & adding
confusion. I think we should put our efforts into maintaining collectors
codes accurately rather than trying to complicate things further.
