Re: incubation times for fallax?

> What are the recommended peat-incubation times for Fp. fallax

I have hatched the CI 98 after 3 months OK & had a big hatch of healthy fry
with zero sliders. I left them this long as the eggs looked in perfect
condition. Age of brood stock unknown. I incubated at around 73F. The peat
was too dry to make a ball but visibly moist.
Didn't someone come up with a scale of peat wetness some time ago?
Generally 6 weeks to 3 months + will work depending on incubation conditions
(temperature, moisture) & the age of the parents.
It would be nice to start a debate on age of parents & optimum hatching time
on the genus Fundulopanchax.

On a similar note. Are the Fifinda Yellow in circulation in the AKA from the
eggs I sent to the AKA a years back or are they from one of the Cameroon
imports being sent to the States?
Now is the season for Cameroon fallax & batesii from the wild.
