Hi All, we had a pretty good GCKA meeting today. Lots a fish, good food, and 
talk. We were talking about the subject of having the F&E be on-line and 
being open to non-members. While the point was made, as with many strings on 
KT, that it is an inducement for membership to get a BNL/F&E listing, I kind 
of thought of a way to deal with the problem in a positive way: Trial 
membership. When a prospect finds our website, they can sign up in much the 
same way they do for killietalk, for a trial membership. We can send them a 
BNL for 2 months, they can order fish from our on-line F&E listing, and use 
our services as a member for 2 months. They can be given a trial membership 
number, and check us out for free before they join. I know that postage cost 
will increase, but this is a membership drive; furthermore, when they 
subscribe to their trial membership, they can be given a contact nearest 
their home as well as the nearest affiliate club. This would be quite a neat 
thing to do, in my opinion. It is probably worth it in postage to find 
members when the AKA finances are healthy.
