I question that comparison. My measurements show that australe eggs are 1.25 
mm diameter and all Nothobranchius are between 0.85 mm and 1.3 mm. I have not 
measured guentheri but would expect they are closest to foerschi or 
palmqvisti which are 0.95 mm. The largest Nothobranchius I have measured is 
voselleri at 1.15x1.35 mm (not spherical and not larger than australe)
