These sound almost more like an *Aphyobranchius* type, like *janpapi*. 
[That generic name is not universally accepted, BTW. Many prefer Notho.]

For really tiny surface feeders, I have found OSI's "APR" (Artificial 
Plankton Rotifer) to be an excellent starter food, along with the 
infusoria and, particularly, green water. Similar to the No-BS, it is 
mostly egg and fish protein in a finely-powdered, floating form.

I have also found that kind of baby can be really sensitive to crowding, too.

I bombed out miserably with the similar tiny babies of *Pantanodon 
stuhlmanni* when I used shoeboxes or smaller containers for hatching, but 
did quite well with plastic sweater boxes that have several times the 
surface area. IDK if *luekei* would be the same. Couldn't hurt.
