Re: Anyone use python water changer for killie-tanks ?
Hi Doug,
Rate of suction is provided by the water pressure from your tap, if you turn
it on full blast, the suction is decent.
I haven't used it on my killi tank, but I couldn't do water changes in any
reasonable amount of time here without it<G> I can do my 58, the two 20's,
the two tens in less than 45 minutes. Meaning I have time to do other fun
stuff besides water changes<G> The killi tank( I only have one) I do the old
fashoned way to avoid pulling eggs out( mine is a natural set up)
I use it also to siphon water out of the marine tank, then have my aged
water ready to replace in that one. The rest I add Amquel, and turn the
apparatus to "fill" on the sink attachment. Voila! Clean, filled tanks<G>
