RE: Caulerpa taxifolia



That was because there is a slug which does not find the toxin so offensive
as it does to all other animals that keeps it in check.  Good old biological
control.

Its found in this part of the Caribbean/Atlantic
(Puerto Rico). When I had time to skin dive I saw it
often, it isn't particularly invasive or widespread
here.
