That is the problem Dr. Goldstein: green water. You can keep the fry in
green water the consistancy of pea soup and get very few fry surviving.
They don't eat the green water alage, they are after the other protozoans
and rotifers etc... I only added  green water from the duck pond to
stimulate the paramecium etc... as well as introduce a few more species of
protozoan to vary the diet so to speak.

Green water is far to small for the fry. They seem to want food that
floats and moves at the surface.

Well... this is my opinion anyway.
