Hi Folks,
In just 4 weeks the Koolest Killifish Konvention east
of the Sierras will take place in beautiful Downtown
Hayward, Calif. Yes, thats Hayward Calif, home of the
Hayward Fault, Cal State Hayward, Hayward Municipal
Golf Course and Hayward Centennial Hall. How can you
miss out on a destination like this. There are 2
Motels within walking distance but if you want a bit
nicer accomodations at just a bit more expense within
2 miles around the corner in Castro Valley there are
nicer accomodations. We will have updated rates posted
on the web site shortly.
Tim Patterson and I are clearing space to receive sale
and show fish. I've been up to my elbows in water all
morning and have accomodations for LOTS of fish.
So start looking at those little beauties in your
tanks and make plans to either come out and bring them
along or if you regretably can't make it in person,
ship the fish out for the show. I must warn you I've
been selecting my own fish for the show and I would
hate to take Best Of Show , just hate it ;-) So if you
don't want a girl with a bad attitude to sweep the
show get those entries ready.
At last months meeting our Chief Judge Mr Sandy Binder
gave a wonderful program on judging using the AKA
guidlines and Al Castro's slide program in preparation
for WCW.
Allan Semeit has pulled together a terrific raffle
this year. This promises to be the best raffle we
have ever seen. Links to the sponsors will also be up
on the website soon.
Don't you love the way I volunteer our web tyrant's
time ;-)
