Re: NEW, VERY ON TOPIC, (LOL) JAPANESE MEDAKA

Had them years ago. Very easy fish, at that time I had "liquid rock" hard,
alkaline water (pH near 8.2 out of the tap). They ate flake food, baby brine,
and frozen brine readily. The female's eggs hang from her vent like a bunch
of grapes till they get wiped off on plants (or mops). Very nice, peaceful
fish. Coloration is not their strong suit, but enjoyable nonetheless.
Carolyn (hoping for spring to return to Ohio).
