We are all trying to make a living.
I have many frogs in my pools, and I'd hate to have them get any killies. I'd like to put fundulopanchax gardneri (n'sukka) outside this summer
and see how they color up and breed. The frogs do help keep the goldfish population down.
Regarding raccoons, they don't like to swim. In a pool deeper than their tummy they won't wade. Keep marginal pots away from the edge of the
pool, for they will use them as stepping stones. I haven't had coon problems since I did that.
Of course, raccoons eat frogs.
The fish book says that frogs have difficulty catching fast moving fish. Maybe not.
Something ate all my Ganbasisa this year. I use them for mosquito control. They probably help the bullfrog with young goldfish, too.
