Re: Aquabid vs F&EL
Wright,
I am surprised that you believe that feedback cannot be amended
to "neutral" or "padded" by a seller, or buyer for that matter. The problem
is that on Aquabid there are no consequences for behavior that the COE
would not accept or tolerate.
And Yes, I do know how it works; I found out the hard and expensive
way.
To assume that a new name is more than just that is the type of "profiling "
that we all lament. The bottom line is that, on a by and large basis, people
that
have other than honorable intentions don't join clubs or organizations.
Whether an auction site thoroughly investigates buyers or sellers
may
well depend on the resources they have available. I do believe that anybody
with computer skills can manipulate most, if not all, scenarios we have been
discussing.
As a result of my experiences with auctions I have become a general
user
of escrow services.
