I agree. There are possibly things that could be done to encourage the use of 
the F&EL in  the BNL, but also there are other ways to exchange or purchase 
or sell fish. All of them have their place in the scheme of things. All will 
work for some people, not for others. Everyone will find a way to get fish. I 
am fortunate to be close to many local killifish groups and that is my way to 
get and give fish. Others live close to good importers, or live close to 
native killifish collecting sites and others need to rely on mail order 
purchases. The AKA cannot optimize just one of these but should encourage all 
of them.
    The one area that is not used much is matching of lonely hearts. In 
theory this can be done by F&EL, but seldom is. In theory, it could be done 
by this email list, but seldom is. It could be done through Killitrader and 
that is also underutilized. Or, maybe I am wrong and I am the only person 
with single males and single females of a species. 

    Speaking of which I have a couple of beautiful males of Callopanchax 
occidentalis SL89 Ngabu that need a female or two.
