Hi! I can understand your frustration. In our
university's computer labs, we use a software called
"ZoomText" which will significantly magnify the
screen. You can check out this software on:

I don't know if this will help. This might not be the
ultimate solution but it's one of the alternative
choices.

As I explained previously the reason I use WebTv is
because I have diabetes with the attendant poor
eyesight. WebTv allows me to use a 27"
tv as a computer monitor rather than a 17" or 19"
screen. This is a heck of a lot easier to read than
the smaller ones. I can also use a IR
keyboard and do not have to crouch next to the screen.
