         I don't use anywhere near that amount at all, I use it on all new 
imports, and have used it consistently to eliminate hydra in all sorts of 
tanks, fully planted, very soft and acid.   I use  just about the amount 
that will stay on the end of a small plastic stick. I can't tell you how 
little,  just the smallest of sprinkle on a tank..........  I can't even 
give a measurement,  an 1/8 of a tsp would be twice as much as I would use 
on a 8galllong tank........................
