RE: eliminating Hydra, Heximita, Velvet, Ick and Glugea

I've been reading with interest the talk about the miracle drug
Flubendazole but how do you keep it from killing the fish.

I purchased some to try, I used it on a tank of Notho's just a light
sprinkle on top of the water. Next day all fish are dead, then I tried it on
a tank of Gn.hoignei at the rate of 1/4 teaspoon to 20 gal. next day fish
are dead.

              HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subject: eliminating Hydra, Heximita, Velvet, Ick and Glugea

Possible spelling errors, this is the compound which Barry and I have
found to be effective for the treatments

Flubendazole, CAS No. : 31430-15-6
Methyl{5-(4-fluoro benzoyl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl}carbamate

Glugea requires larger doses. Hydra goes quickly, Velvet requires
three to 4 days and two treatments of about 1/4 teaspoon. No water
discoloration, no damage to plants or snails.
