Adam, are you incubating the S. marginatus eggs at 70°F ? If so, that may
be a part of the problem. This species prefers warm water. I try to keep
the breeders at around 75°F and I incubate the eggs at closer to 80°F. Even
at 80 °F, the eggs can take anywhere from about 2 months to 8 months to
develop.
