Simp. Marginatus

Can anyone help me out with this fish?  It seems every time I hatch eggs I
get 0-6 fry and they are all bellysliders.  Ive only been able to hatch one
normal swiming fry.
It seems that they will hatch randomly from 1-4 months at 70F, whats the
deal?  The females always look fat and full of eggs and they dont seem to
ever loose them. I keep 2 males and 3 females in a 5.5 gallon tank with my
water being at a PH of 7.0 and the hardness at 200ppm.

Can anyone enlighten me with information on this fish??
