Hey All, dont forget about legal natives, Aphanius mento, etc.  Aplo. pumilis 
is an excellent candidate for the basic pH.  There are alot of really nice 
Fundulus species that will be extremely happy in that water.  Also, 
Nothobranchius may prove to worth a try.  That is what is so cool about 
killies. There are plenty of choices for your conditions and your taste. Mark
