Fp. gardneri lacustris

The latest collection of Fp. gardneri lacustris that I am aware of was made
by Nevin Aspinwall in March, 1999- Cameroon. The code is HAH98 Lake Ejagham.
As far as I know all of the collections of this species are from an outlet of
Lake Ejagham with a few found around the edges of the lake near the outlet.
They require very clean water and it is helpful to incubate the eggs in
flowing water- use of an airstone is adequate. Otherwise it is not a
particularly difficult species to breed and maintain.
