Hello All,
My father had the very last trio in the hobby, Inbreeding had taken it's
toll. He had given up on trying to breed them and sent them to Dr.Dan
Nielsen if I recall, To see if he could get anything out of them. To my
understanding there is a Parking lot where there habitat was. I searched
everywhere for it's species identity to no avail! I checked every page in
Huber's book, there was a peru no7 but that was discovered in the 80's and
an NSC-6.
The only remnant of the species is a photographic slide my father took in
1977. That and a few OLD fish tanks still labeled NSC-7.
This fish holds a place in my heart as the one that got away FOREVER!!
