"Red wigglers" as killie food suppliment?

Hello all,

Besides the usual menu of tubifex, daphnia, grindal/white worms and BBS,
what's the opinion on using red wigglers as a suppliment? Is it too
high in protein/fat ??

I will be working on a vermiculture using these wigglers (specifically
Eisenia foetida) for composting purely organic garbage (vege) for worm
"castings" to fertilize my herbs, and thought that the young worms (so I
don't have to chop 'em up) may be a treat for adult killies.

A penny for your thoughts?

Regards,
