RE: grindal worms
Hi Mike,
I have used the 8in1 Bird Protector that is made to hang on the outside of
Bird cages to protect birds from lice and mites. You can get them at most
pet stores, I do not pull the cover off as the instructions say. Instead I
take a pen or sharp point and just punch half dozen holes in it then tape it
to the top of the box. Works everytime, have told others about this and they
had results and no problems. Just to be3 clear I do wash the worms before
feedind.

Folks.....
1) Before I make a terrible error can anyone really, 1st hand, verify the
trick of putting a mothball in a culture of Grindals to get rid of the
mites?????
2) Just a quick note on the Copyright thing....go ahead and read this
one!!!...the issue is important enough to be DISCUSSED.....it is as
important as discussing South American Killies vs. African
Killies........you may run right through or delete the African Killie notes
to get to the South American notes.....you make that choice........but
consider this.........Mr. T. Terceria may not ever show you folks any of his
good pics again......we loose......and all of the Killie folks may never
show the "new" pics of the new introductions (as I have) if people keep
stealing the pics and using them.....even linking to them.........then where
would the internet be and where would you have found out about
http://www.southernapistos.com/newpterolebias.jpg ? We need to talk about
the subject.......we just need not to call people names!
